LH Photos

(Reno and Suzette in 2006 on the trip to San Francisco)

Added, per your request, are some more LH photos past and present. Enjoy! The fun and progress continues, as Legend Heart returns to the studio to begin recording the last three songs for the new CD. Much more work than it is known goes into recording a CD. At times very serious and focused, but always fun and interesting. More to come as progress grows :)

Legend Heart at The Hive! A Weekend in Pictures!

This weekend, two very productive recording sessions took place at The Hive recording studio. While the experience was good overall, there were times when tensions were on the rise. I suppose that comes with the territory in the creative process--especially when there are several personality types working to create something together. Regardless, it was a very good experience and there are absolutely no regrets. Bob and his intern, Jon, are kick-ass engineers who had a lot of good input and feedback to offer us. We now have four tracks well on their way to being completed including the song we recorded in the latter part of last year, "Magnetic Mannequin!"

Woo Hoo!

Anyway, here are some photos from this weekend. We just received and added the Reno-meister's photos to the slideshow...Enjoy! :)

LH Happenings: It's Studio Time!

legend-heart, legend heart, rock, true, independent, music, true independent music

Yes, it's true friends. We are in the studio again tomorrow! YAY!

I know many of you are saying, "It's about friggin time!" and I don't blame you. It has been a "long and winding road," but I have to say that I see some good things on the horizon for the band as we begin to perform more often after the release of our two new CDs in 2009.

Our sound continues to evolve and develop day by day, week by week, and month by month. I am looking forward to recording again and looking forward to the opportunities we will be making for ourselves over the next year. I am totally jazzed about this new blog because I know the power it has to bridge connections between people who are getting to know one another.

Tomorrow, I hope to have a recording studio update, so come back soon!

Welcome to Legend Heart's New Blog!

OK! So, we're finally catching up with the times and investing a little time in setting up this blog to keep friends up to date with what is going. This weekend we're in the studio recording for our upcoming third CD. We have had some personnel changes within the band, but all in all, the changes are very positive.

In the latter part of last year, we said goodbye to our old friend and band mate James Wyatt who passed away. For those of you who are just getting to know us, he played bass on our debut album "Legend Heart." He was a phenomenal bassist and a wonderful person.

Last year had some highlights for us, as well. We finally found a drummer who is not only very talented, but who is also a great person and a good friend. We performed at Super Saturday over at the Evergreen State College, and we recorded the first song of our upcoming CD. This will be our third CD and it will be Masons' debut performance with us. We are totally excited about how this CD will turn out. The first song we recorded turned out better than we anticipated. :)

Well, that's it for now! Stay tuned for more band news!
